"Why did the Beastie Boys say...Why do White Castle Fries Only Come in One Size?"

I'm serious folks and so was she. We're watching the show that Jon Hein (from Howard Stern) Fast Food Nation. They were doing a piece on WC and of course they showed our BBoys. And the first thing my daughter said was...Why do WC fries only come in one size? I've never been to one so I said I don't know. But I love that she knows that lyric! Love Love Love you MCA!!!!

The day Adam died, I came home from work early. I was determined to not become overly emotional in front of my kids. As soon as I got through the door, my two girls (age 11) met me to give me a hug. One said "I'm sorry your rapper friend died." The other said "It's okay, you can cry if you want to."

It was one of the most poignant moments I have ever experienced in my life.

My daughter is totally getting into them now that I listen to them 24/7. She does this cute little hiney dance to Shake Your Rump. She also wants a Beastie Boys shirt now. She asks questions about them all the time now too. Kids are the best!

The day i heard about MCA I was at work and my 11yr old son was at school and he hadnt heard what happened yet,I was a mess, crying, snot running down my nose all the emotions that happen when you lose a family member, well anyway when I left work he was on the bus and he texted me that the Beastie were playing on the radio on the bus,I texted him a :( and he asked me what was wrong. When he got home he found me on my bed ballin my eyes out ,he knew I was really upset and when I told him what happened,he started crying to and he put his arms around me and said that MCA was in a better place and hes not hurting anymore, that was a moment I will never forget and that just proved that even though he loves his tv and video games,he still listens to me when I talk about someone who I really cared about.
