Sorry if this has been posted somewhere before.
This is one of my favorite performances. This stuff can't be rehearsed! They just meshed together perfectly!

These two clips, on top of the songs which had been coming out since the start of that year, had me really, truly excited. Really, really excited. They were about to storm the game this time, and I think they were bringing the ideas and even a little hunger.

And then this is just pure fucking momentum: Glasgow, first four. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a09yS5zJQWo)
Came across this Sabotage clip t'other day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bz_ebRvSjGc) and really liked the subtle flairs they add to it to make it sound 2007. Yauch having his wig blown back by the guitar at 1:04 is funny.

I'm hooked on that Shake Your Rump clip from Amsterdam. The beats mixed into it are perfect! My only complaint is that the line "I'm Mike D and I'm back from the dead, chillin' at the beach down at Club Med". A minor complaint but when that bass comes bouncing in during that line in the studio version... I consider that one of the greatest moments in music history!

That Glasgow clip is great! What a crazy trio of songs to open a show with. And I love how they run out from the crowd!

In the studio version of Shake Your Rump there's a slap bass sample that comes in during "I'm Mike D and I'm back from the dead..." that just gets me every single time! I'm not sure what MMM drops in the Amsterdam performance instead. It's cool, but I love the bass combined with the line.

And holy fuck Money Mark goes nuts in that Sabotage clip. Keyboard and man knocked to the fucking ground! Wicked.

Beastie Boys - Jimmy James (Live) This show was at the Sony Tower in Shinsaibashi in Osaka. It was in a tiny club on the 9th floor of the building. They played a lot of instrumentals - and even played a couple of Minor Threat songs. Amazing show. It was like the seeing the B-Boys at a house party.
