As each day goes by, I think even if they wanted to disband it, I'd rather it not be announced.

I agree, but at the same time if Mike and Adam wanted to make an announce of what the future hold for the Beastie Boys I'd be down with that.

I think it's pretty clear that there will be no more new Beastie albums with just Mike and Adam, it's Triple Trouble, not Double. They may and most likely will release already recorded Beastie Boys music. I can not see them not putting out music under the use of the name like Mike D of the Beastie Boys or something.

I guess I'd like to hear something.

I would rather not hear about them disbanding either. Mike and Adam are true artists, they will continue to work, but the idea of them making announcements? I don’t see that unless we get some information from an interview. Maybe they still need time to figure it all out. Maybe they need longer. Mike is spending more and more time in L.A. too. B-boy surfing Mike.


I think and I hope that the boards and the site will stay up for fans sake even if they are over.... At MCA day Adrock was told the BB board were sending out their love so I am sure they know and appreciate all it’s old members.

I dont think they OWE us anything, I think they WANT to tell us something (because were the most loyal fans ever, and theyre amazing.) but not until theyre comfortable.
