Ged I. Knight
Goes by middle name of I. tbd, Isac, Ithakie, … etc
GIK is on Earth, But not from Earth, placed by the council of the Force to bring Balance to the Universe.
So I. knows his calling, and in his early attempts to have justice prevailed, he was shot down. I becomes confused by the world and learns to get along. He knows his calling because he saw it on the projector, but, in this episode he does not realize his real calling untill the end, when he becomes a hero. He will be perfect in the next episode,,,
GIK fights the calling and uses his powers to live a life short of a true master, but with a good heart in most cases.
One scene that comes to mind is a spikole, from fast times, type, maybe even Sean Peen playing a Surfer/Skater stoner Uses the powers he has to scam some golfers. His use of his powers are comedic, profitable and educational.
In the end he saves the world and uses his reward to have a party
The start is GIK as adult.
7/3 - Ritchy...how do we create new pages/docs?
1) Scene possibilities: I can’t help but think of the time we are sitting in a car in you are trying to meld with this kid in the car in front of us in the parking lot…it was hilarious.
2) story arch - I wonder if this is a story of growth – like the empire strikes back – early on, I. is full on with the force, but lost – like you say – hustling money, smoking bongs, but not happy – a drift. a love story maybe…something where in the end he finds redemption, peace, and a purpose…but of course, while it is upbeat and happy, as the music is grand and moving, he grabs the bong with a new sense of purpose…a setup for the next movie, I am sure.
Riffing on 2 - in the end, he has found love and learned something important - and the party maybe his wedding (picturing the scene at the end of a new hope)...him, lea, and chewy...
Need to start character sheets and plot lines...but still working out thematic details...
Need a sheet of reference links if we want to thread in Star Wars concepts without being obvious...but I think this would be very minimal...maybe it is more quote based - like, at some point I becomes tired of someone continuing to talk about someone that irritates him, say his name is Frank...maybe Frank is a bad guy actually...but after hearing about him too often and in too good a light (ie, about how great he is), I snaps and says, “Enough - I’ll have no more of this Frank Gibberish!” - as an example.

Scene: GIK neighbors dog keeps shitting in GIK front yard and GIK uses the force to make the dog run out into traffic. for some reason there is a hint of Dameon going on here.
Earl - I’m confused here...GIK causes a dog to be killed? I like the Dameon reference, but would think this would be something that F would do. But...GIK is a karmactic balancer -maybe he levitates a mass of cow shite from a cattle yard and dumps it in his neighbor's yard....or makes all the strays go over and cover his yard....but to cause the dog to get killed...I don’t know about that.
RE Frank: ok Frank is a true wolf in sheeps clothing willing to say anything and always causing problems. For some reason the masses love him but I seems to be one of the few that sees the truth. Frank and I have a few run ins, but maybe in the end I saves the world indirectly/on accident, scooby do style while in a fight with Frank, Frank is a preffesional bowler like woody h. in king pin.
I do like where this is going - I love the professional bowler...funny - I was thinking he was running for local office or something....but maybe he is trying to open a new bowling center on some land that needs saving and the story line is I coming to understand why the land needs saving - a good and beautiful young lady is trying to save it for some virutous reason, but F is the smooth talking media guy bribing local officials - in the end I exposes the corruption by controlling the cameras and getting the bribe telecasted live on tv...the public cheers as the land is saved I and the girl hug...but maybe like Luke and Lea, they are never meant to be...not that they are related....maybe in the midst of this, I learns of more corruption and the end is about him heading off to solve the next issue....or not...but all in all, that could be the movie. It is very formulaic and reminds me of air heads or something like that...but if the quotes are right and the setup scenes are fun enough, that is all it takes - not a bad goal for a first screne play...but that is just one possibility.
Scene: car chase, I jumps in his friends new comero to chase the bad guy and trashes the car. I then convinces his friend the bad guys did the car damage and I buddy goes to get revenge but gets his asds kicked.
Again...why are you always making I evil? Is he a GIK or a sith? This sounds like something Frank would do...but I’m confused...I think GIK tokes and has fun...but he is good natured, right?
Spikole was good natured? His dad had a great set of tools....
7/8/12 - Opening scene thoughts...I like your trailer with the bng dragging across the table...pulling these thoughts all together - I can’t help but think we need to revist the fast times/spikole thing here - this may be a scene from there, but I’m not certain...
Okay - opening scene:
Typical - dirty bedroom - clothes on the floor. The alarm clock goes off - it’s like 11:30 am (or some late in the day time) - the news story is going on...
Male voice: Frank such and such is in town to begin working on his new bowling center...
Femail voice: I know there’s a lot of women out there excited to meet Frank...
A hand slaps the snooze button and I rolls over...sits up, fumbles around for a pinch hit
stumbles to the bath room and gets a shower, dressed, makes a bowl of cereal, sits on the couch and turns on the tv...a Frank ? media spot is on about him and his exciting new center (for some reason I think of Zachs 54 here...maybe it’s the “Frank whatever his last name is bowl-a-rama center” good for the full family - mothers, be sure to bring all the kids - with a wink...and the femail report swoons.
At this point I mumbles something...f’ing frankin’f...what a dick...or something (we’ll let shean penn have creative license here) and this is where he pulls the bong with the force...
Maybe this scene comes later...I don’t know....it could start with him getting out of bed and such and as he makes his cereal, he is looking out the kitchen window and this is where he sees the neighbor letting his dog crap on his yard and sneaking off like he didn’t know - later I can confront him and the neighbor can shiftily deny any knowledge of it...
anyway...there are some thoughts...we probably need a story board where we can place the items over time....
Questions:
Are we going to make the fact that I is not of this earth none for the entire move, only at the end, or not at all in this first one? We can work that story thread in with the rest, but what is our goal? Or...is he of this earth? a different time? or are we saying he is human just like us, but that we all come from another place (prometheus/scientology mythos)
Is I here as a punishment, or more is it like being sent to boarding school, or camp, or is it more heartfelt and deeper - that he is here to learn something - and that at first maybe he is playing pranks (camero and dog items above) - but over time he learns the error of his ways and grows...and just as he gains insight, the world is saved, and he leaves...is this the goal?
Is I always very aware and speaking honestly as events on fold, maybe always hinting like he is watching the film as well, with lines like, “oh come on, that would never happen”...and eventually when something really unbelievable happens he actually looks at the audience/camera and says, “Really”...but in the end, he believes and is excited to fulfil his role...his destiny.
One more thought - thinking on king pin, it made me think - it would be funny if Frank, the bad guy, actually was bill murray’s character from king pin, with his name, and bill muray actually played him...which led to woody h. being Ged...and then I thought of the dude from the big lebowsky...which led to a group of classic film characters playing their own roles - the dude, spikoley, harold or kumar - etc...which became the original jedi council...more of a ged i. intervention.
Also, thought of chewy having terrets, like the guy on the trading show - on the horse helling “Yah!”...freaking hillarious...Chewy could have tons of hillarious lines that way.
and last, but not least...
Maybe bobby knight is gik's uncle...and like him, he was sent here to learn something - in his case it was to control his anger, and since he never has learned, he is still here. Maybe in the end he, like darth vader, chokes out bill murray, who may actually die, like in zombieland....more, along the line Yoda said anger,something, something - these lead to the dark side - maybe anger is the topic of movie one and we have a movie for each item noted -so, it is full force: anger - but we don’t actually say that - after all of the movies have come out, it will become clear...and maybe bobby knights choke out is where he learns the meaning of anger and how to manage it...something along those lines.

Ged was born the son of a great General of the good guys, Is dad is being hunted down and dad and family surely will be killed. Ged is sent away to a safe location. At the age of 4 years old Ged is sent with a driver to Earth. The driver/delivery guy decides that a couple living in a fith will by the river is the best chance. The couple accepts I in and I has a hologram projector full of directions. The movie can explain this , but after the credits in the beginning we meet ged as a punk 20 year old. So this open up the future to stories of his dad, and stories of I later.
