I just listened to it front to back, front to back, front to back.
While it's no Illmatic... It's (imo) his strongest LP he's done in YEARS!
He's finally picked some great beats (something he's been lacking for some time) and has a fire lit under his ass.
A lot of fast spit rhymes and a few throwback 90's jams.
I'll be rocking this for the rest of the summer.
Start hating....
Now!

Nas just bores me anymore. Haven't copped this yet. I will.

You need to check out Loki-Motive with Large Professor.
Truly my fav track on the record (so far).

Yeah it's excellent. Such a positive message too, but not used in an overly simping manner. Things are fucked, but life is good.

Bye Baby, as divorce rap, is one of the truest things I've ever heard. Really enjoying this album, but it seems to match my circumstance so it's probably partly to do with that.

Nas is going to be on the Colbert Report tomorrow night, I think.

Album of the year contender, for sure. I find myself hearing the seeds for it in 'Too Many Rappers' given the fuckery that was going on in his life at the time. But I'm reaching because I'm mourning MCA.
On topic - one of the best rap albums I've listened to front-to-back in a long fucking time.
