Great find. That ROM is like the vault itself. Really would like a copy that.
Saw this a couple weeks ago when I saw it in their Wikipedia page. One thing that caught my eye was "Hurra & Adrock Freestyle" at around 9:08. I'd love to see that.

I found it strange that for a brief second around 2:13 you hear the original version of Intergalactic but he does not let it play longer or come back to it in any fashion.
Loved the jam session with the boys and Mark starting around 3:40 dated just before Christmas 1990. So cool to see that.

I caught that too!
I like the music during "ricky's gallery", sounds like a dope instrumental outtake.

That blew my wig back. So many cool little peeks. I'd kill to get my hands on that shit. I have made so many wisecracks over the years about the CD ROM. I can't believe I got a peek of it. A damn crime that it never got released.

I totally remember this and remember hitting up every music store in the bay area looking for it.
Anyone know what video site it's using for it on the blog? It's not working on my phone.

ian worked on this to...i didn't know about this guy. it was supposed to feature the original Intergalactic on it as well.
I know that the original release fell through due to copyright problems but surely there must be one or two copies out there that could be 'accidently' left in a rental car!!!
I never realised just how much stuff was on the CD Rom till I watched that clip, seems a shame for it to be kept locked up.

I would think this could be "bootlegged" and converted to work on a modern PC.
They've got Abstract Rude and Nintey-9 freestyles on there and everything. So dope.

I do not believe that is completely true. I swore I heard they sent out review copies. Could be wrong though.

I know of at least three copies that were made by turntable.com - and I know of 2 clones that were made from one of those copies. For a total of 5 copies. The clones were sold on eBay. Somewhere in my stuff I have saved files of those auctions.

This reminds me of the Blender CD-ROM from 1995 that I own, but have not able to view for many many years. If I remember correctly, it was an incredible 3-D tour of the G-Son Studio, basketball court and all...

That magazine looks familiar, I wonder if I have it somewhere in my vaults... When I got it I didn't have a computer so I don't think I've seen any CD-Rom.
btw Does anyone have that screensaver that was once available somewhere? There was basketballs flying around and guys heads and stuff. A friend of mine copied it for me on a floppy disc....

Found the Blender cd-Rom as well! But for some reason my new computer doesn't play Quicktime (I've had loads of trouble with technicalities on it, can't use Firefox for playing, You Tube nor Soundcloud, anyone know how to fix that?).
I'll check if I can put the files up somewhere so they can be heard/seen.

Ohmygosh, I forgot all about that screensaver! Thanks for bringing that up - brought a smile to my face and reminded me of the good ol' days. :)
(but no, I'm sorry, I don't still have it - wish I did!)

Thank you! I was gonna ask what the traffic cone program was called! I have it in my old computer, but couldn't remember the name so haven't been able to add it on my new one.
I remember the floppy disc my friend copied for me only worked on Mac, which, of course, I didn't have....

Yes, he had a copy. Not sure if he still has it since I think is out of the collecting beastie world.
