I'm going to Buenos Aires and Bariloche in 4 days!:)

Finally! I'm going to see SNOWWWW!!! It got me years....first Europe and now Argentina. Hihi. Not obvious.;)

So, anyway, I'm going with 2 friends and we have lots of things in mind...has anybody been there and went to cool places, especially at night?

I've visited Buenos Aires. Absolutely wonderful. I would recommend seeing the tango performed, which may not be hard since its done regularly in Plaza de Florida (I think? It's like a main shopping street).

Definitely go to Recolleta. The cemetery, where Eva Peron is buried, has some amazing statues & crypts. I was there a week and also took the ferry over to Colonia, Uruguay. Beautiful there too.

I pretty much did everything I wanted to there, but if I went back, I'd go to see the big metal flower open at sunrise & close at sunset. If you eat meat, there are great restaurants down by the waterfront. I highly suggest Cabana las Lilas. I had the best steak ever (& it's so inexpensive!)

There is a big mall that has one unique claim to fame- the only Kosher McDonald's outside of Isreal. I totally recommend checking out Loney Planet's website & travel books. I never travel without mine.

I went to Buenos Aires last month and had an amazing time, but know nothing about where to go out at night as was sooooo busy during the days that was in bed by 8pm hahahha!

BA is super easy to walk around, so you can easily do all the main districts on foot which I did but I also did one off those city bus tours which cost about 90 pesos and is valid for 24hrs. They're really comprehensive and take you a little out of the city like to Belgrano etc. You should also try to go to Montevideo in Uruguay. You can do it in a day and if you book the ferry in advance it's easy but it gets filled up quickly. FB me if you need any details

Thanks for the tips!! I actually didn't go to Colonia because it's better during summer. But I went snowboarding and I felt really cool! Hihihihi!
I really liked the pub Wilkenny in Bariloche. I had some good stories there.:D
I went to Zoo Luján in Buenos Aires and took pictures with lions, gave milk to tigers and gave food to a bear!

The trip was awesome!!!:D
