Been thinking about the best back to back cuts from the albums, the best one/two punches. This has come to me a few times while listening to HSC; Tadlock then Lee Majors is so good, so I started thinking about all the best combo's....or whatever they might be called.
My list (nothing from LTI, HN, TT5B; lots of good just not top 5):
#1. A Year and A Day/Hello Brooklyn
#2. Pass the Mic/Gratitude
#3. Tadlock's Glasses/Lee Majors Come Again
#4. So What'cha Want/Time for Livin' - Biz vs. Nuge part of TFL
#5. Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun/Car Thief
Honorable mention - Sure Shot/Tough Guy
List would obviously cater more to my tastes/favorites, but damn the Tadlock/Lee Majors songs make me think about this every time I hear them.
Has someone already done this? O well getting excited for my Cali to NY trip next week!

I actually prefer The Move/Remote Control. Also agree with DM on LDTBOAG/Car Thief. I love Funky Donkey/The Larry Routine (funny considering Larry was originally part of B-Boys In The Cut).

Flute Loop/Do It
It's the best back to back, it's so good I can't listen to flute loop with out Do It. It sounds wrong.

I was going to suggest that you are all right with the Hello Nasty tracks, Super Disco Breakin'/The Move/Remote Control all flow together so nicely but I'd even add in Song for the Man after that! Such a great selection of songs to start the album with, I always end up listening to the first 4 together!

If you just mean the transition, you can't front on how Here's a Little Somethin For Ya flows into Crazy Ass Shit. For a while there I thought they were the same track.
I agree with Super Disco Breaking into The Move too.
Also, Shambala into Bodhisattva Vow. When MCA's vocal breaks in with the drums, that's a great moment in music history right there. So so dope. With the echo, I'm tellin' you.

I like..
Make Some Noise / Nonstop Disco Powerpack
and
Sabotage / Get it Together
and
Rhymin & Stealin' / The New Style
but Super Disco / The Move is probably the winner. :)

Hello Nasty has the best 7 start tracks in my opinion.
Super Disco Breakig, The Move, Remote Control, Song for the Man, Just a Test, Body Movin and Intergalactic is a hell of a combo.

lol, I just realized I said 'start tracks' and it sounds like 'star trek' (but in the plural of course).

Brilliant thread!
Paul's Boutique tracks #2-5, take your pick:
"Shake Your Rump"
"Johnny Ryall"
"Egg Man"
"High Plains Drifter"
"The Sounds of Science"
BUT...I may have to go "Body Movin'" into "Intergalactic" off Hello Nasty.
