I'm late on just about everything and I'm MAD late on this apparently, but this song is addictive. Caught it on an episode of Breaking Bad and looked it up.
Give it a listen. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtPK0gRdFgI)
Get through the long intro before you shut it down. Apparently, this dude grew up listening to hip hop according to his wiki. Evident.

Maybe I need to be faded the next time I listen to it.
I'm not saying that I didn't like it. It just didn't hit me on the first listen.

That's the lead singer and "one in the same dude"of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes.
I was blown away when that episode ended with that song because at the time I had been listening to it a lot and it only had 300 hits on youtube. It was bizarre because I felt as if Vince Gill or whoever decided to end that show with that song was reading my mail.
Here is another few songs with Edward/Alexander Ebert...

I just started watching breaking bad on Netflix like five days ago and am almost through season 4. I had never heard that song and when it came on I immediately had to back it up and use soundhound to see what it was. Fit that scene so well. I've been playing it non stop the last 24 hours. I read about Alexander and checked some more vids but nothing grabbed me. Definitely talented though. It's fun discovering new shit, even if it isn't all that "new."

I think "Man on Fire (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qghPyUm_MSI&feature=related)" is one of my favorite songs of 2012... I sort of identified with this band right away because they reminded me a lot of my stoner years. Then I found out he came up with the idea of the band in Alcoholics Anonymous while getting and staying sober.
I'm in AA too and they all look like they've had the proper frying of the mind just like me!
Breaking Bad is scary great. I'm just getting ready to watch the latest episode right now.
