How'd it go?

I always hated art class in elementary school, and I'm not quite sure why, because as I've gotten older I've realized that I love art and have a great appreciation for it. :confused:

ok so I go in 2 hours 2 times a month. Volunteer work.

This is my 5th year to do it.

I love it, but its not a job for me, its part of my religious formula ... "time for living, time for giving"

Sometimes the kids are punks, but most often they love it and we push each other to learn and do better.

My personal favorite is the boomerang day that has nothing to do with the art class.

is art class more like learning how to draw and do crafting or more like learning about famous painters/ings?

well last time last year I read a Dr Seuss book then the kids made 3d inspired architectural work with colored paper, scissors glue tape pipe cleaners etc..

today we watched a video on Mountain landscape and the kids did mountain landscapes with sharpies on white paper.

Kids were great and I was impressed with some of the work

I'm teaching basic problem solving in relativistic fluid mechanics, nonlinear electrodynamics and general relativity tomorrow at MIT for grad students and faculty.

I hope this class doesn't turn out to be a bunch of little bitches.
