Anybody ever hear of this/seen it? http://www.philippucci.com/shorts/beastie.html
It's on the wiki page, so I did a search and found that website. but I haven't ever heard of it before now. The cool thing, if it's real, is that it predates the AIFST shooting model by 18 years.
The End.

Very interesting. I remember contacting him about 10 years ago or so via email and we exchanged a few messages. I don't remember the specifics but he wasn't interested in making the film public at that time.
I'm glad he's now interested and thinking about releasing it.

So wait, he shot a 5 min music video with angles from the crowd and on stage? Thats not the same as the Beasties concept. There's be a full concert for starters. And there's an entire history of bootlegs shot and edited together this way. The Beastie's idea was that it was a feature length bootleg.
Just saying this guy makes it sound like some groundbreaking idea he had.
Not to completely rip on him, I do want to see the footage.

I don't think he once compared it to AIFST. I did in my original post. Thanks for pointing out the difference between a 5 minute film and a feature length one.
