I ran into an idiot yesterday and almost got into a fight...

I was out with a business contact: He is probably one of the largest land developers in the state and he manufactures goods sold in many stores like Wal-Mart, my point is my guest has his shit together and is straight edge.

So, 2 of us playing and we are on the second green, my friend hits from the sand. He makes bogey, I make birdie. To the south of us is the number 9 tee box and to the south of that is a row of homes. At this time some guy starts yelling at my friend "Hey you did not rake the sand box!" he continues to yell and my friend says "hey there is no rake and did my best to clean it up with my foot and club." We continue playing our round.

We come back to number 9 and the guy is waiting on us.

He rips into my friend explains how he is a loser and a bad golfer and a lire. My friend says "I am sorry and it wont happen again." the guy continues to yell.

I step in and say "He is my guest and I will make sure the golf pro knows about this and it wont happen again." Fact is we are both members, not sure why I said this.

So then the guy from the back yard, probably 50 years old tells me I must be but buddies with my guest.

Then I turn around and say "you don't even know me. You Ignorant, fat, dumb ass muther fucker, have a nice day."

So, I turned around and prayed for forgiveness and walked down the fairway to my ball. Only played 9 and hit a 37. I guess I am luck this guy did not have a gun.

Seems really stupid. Come to find out this stupid, fat, ignorant dumb-ass is living with his mom and was drinking all day fucking with golfers. Now he is band from the back yard. Not just per his mom, but his mom will now be find if her son talks to golfers. Thats whats great about associations and private clubs.
