I know people are gonna think this is weird, but fuck it. I need your help. I'm moving to NYC in a couple of months. I was told that it's really beneficial to have a local address listed on your resume. I'm willing to try it because I haven't been hearing anything.

I really don't care where it is or what borough. I just need an address. I can already hear the "fucking noobs" and see the eye rolls, but I would have been an ass if I didn't ask.

just put "new york, ny" on there and if they ask, say you're planning on living there.

I'm trying to have interviews lined up when I get there. I didn't think there would really be too many ppl from nyc here but I only needed one. I have a friend that just moved from Queens to WV for med school. She said she has a friend in the city who is a hiring manager. She said if the resume doesn't have a local addr, she just throws it out.
