Back in 2006 I randomly spotted Everlast at Burbank Airport luggage claim (wearing a Soul Assassins track suit) when I was there to pick up my mom. Absolutely nobody else there knew who he was. I remember wanting to go up and get a picture with him, but ultimately deciding not to when I thought of some of the ignorant things he's said about the Beasties (I.E "LTI is/was mocking Hip Hop”) and how awful he sold out with that horrible Johnny-Cash-of-Hip-Hop wannabe stuff. I remember I was standing fairly close to him when my Beastie Boys ringtone went off and saw him briefly look over at me. I was glad I got to share my ringtone with him.
But Danny Boy seems really cool and I would certainly seek out a picture with him. And it was cool to hear the Jack and Just Blaze share their Beastie Fan experiences.
