The Date June 26 , 1987 Started everything for me. I was 13 years old and my friends dad was taking him to see a band called the Beastie Boys ( & Run DMC ) at Cal Expo Amphitheater here in Sacramento , CA. I did not attend this show, but I was not a fan yet. He told me how cool The Beastie Boys show was , so then I checked out Licensed To Ill ( cassette tape ) and I was hooked. It was around that time that I road my bike down to the local video store and rented the Licensed to Ill home video. The 1st Beastie Boys Television Appearance I ever recorded was " In Person from the Palace " back in 1987. I would watch that clip over and over and over , when I was 13 & 14 years old. To this day it is my favorite tv appearance by them. I then became a superfan. I remember in 1989 riding my bike to Tower Records on July 25 , 1989 to get Paul's Boutique , at this point I was the only one out of all of my friends that cared anything at all about the Beastie Boys. For years ( and way before the internet ) I would call their Management office to get a list of tv appearances for the week - they were so cool to me . John Silva ( manager of the Beastie Boys ) told me over the phone that the Beastie Boys were playing a San Francisco gig at the I-Beam Club on Feb. 13 , 1992. A Huge Thanks to John Silva because that night provided me with a lifetime of memories ( my 1st Beastie Boys Concert ). So , I have been a fan of the Beastie Boys since I was 13 years old - fast foward to 2012 - I am 39 years old , husband, father, career man, and still Love the Beastie Boys as much if not more than I did when I was 13 years old ! oh , and now I have over 40 hours of TV Appearances by them. Because I just never stopped what I started when I was 13 years old with Beastie Boys Compilation ( 2 hour Video ) # 1. , I now have over 22 ( 2 hour ) Compilations - over 40 hours of Beastie Boys T.V. Clips. A Huge Thanks to the Beastie Boys For Entertaining Me My Whole Life !

Oh my bad , I was thinking of a interview from 1994 with a female english reporter in a tour bus I believe ( with 2 songs performed ) I think at the end yauch swings from the pole at the top of the inside of the bus - that's the one I was thinking of & that is on :

just wanted to send some love and light Ben's way.

I saw he is suffering the loss of a family member and I felt it was appropriate to let him know that he is appreciated for all of his videos that he makes, and his love and passion for the beastie boys.

I'm sorry for your loss, Ben
