really happy to finally get a hold of some hi res pics of these decks.. they look awesome. didn't manage not to get a bit teary eyed too, seeing his own lyrics (and not just any) written by him self, on a skate, all for a good cause...

I wonder -- is anyone skilled in the long lost art of font creation? If so someone could create a font based on the handwriting. We have something like that at beastiemania.com for Dave Parsons (Ratcage Dave) who used to hand letter his old zine Mouth of the Rat.

The Tony Hawk Foundation and the Beastie Boys should produce replicas of these decks and channel the money to skateparks or Milarepa or something. So much better than the action figures.

I dig that font idea 9thbeastie. you could extract almost every letter from the alphabet using the writing on those three decks.

at this point we would need 100 posters to pledge $100 to get in on this thing at 10 grand.

I love that it's the 4 deck set.

Also been thinking about the font idea since I first saw the snippet of the red board, but have never done anything like it before and have been supremely busy. Was planning to make it my Christmas project tough, especially now that there are pics that don't require adjusting and angle and that all letters are covered. Is anybody here willing to advise/help/offer opinions/do it all in three seconds flat without me even trying?

I would definitely pitch in $100 for the boards. I know there are fans who don’t come on here would might also participate in this. Actually I know a girl who had seven grand but that was her limit…We could help her get them, or we can just try it the way y’all suggested. I dunno three days left and they’re gone. :/
