It's been mentioned on this board before, but I wanna revisit.
On the Butt Naked version of "So What'cha Want?," Mike D says:
"You can't front on that...to the SKV."
What's the SKV? Or is he saying something else?

Biz says it in Live Groove Holmes, too. I don't know what it means either.

I always thought it was "SKB" but it could be "SKV". Biz Markie says "SKB" or "SKV" on his albums. And sometimes says "SK Biz Markie".
I still have no clue what it means. I've spent hours trying to figure it out and never could.

Thanks for starting this thread, because otherwise I wouldn't have learned that Biz Markie will record a custom outgoing voicemail message for $10.

SKB is a brand that manufactures cases for musical equipment (instruments, pedals, P.A., etc.) They also make cases for industrial and military use. Perhaps?

I have no idea but for the record my vote is for "SKV" not "SKB."

I haven't tried. Planning on purchasing for a friend's birthday, but that's not until May...

The Casio Sk-1 was an old school drum machine. The Biz used to call himself the SK Biz because referred to himself as a human drum machine.... The SKB!

Actually... I was incorrect in my description.... The SK-1 was a keyboard (synth)... But the rest is accurate... It had cheesy drums built in....

I tried it, it's legit but... they're pretty strict about what biz will say. It's basically like "insert your name here" into a basic message.
I had like a sentence or two I wanted Biz to say, and they got back to me a month later and were like "nah." Had to get a refund.
