the past year I've been making a stronger effort to check out new(ish) bands. new to me is anything within the past 10 years or something I just didn't notice before. I've never heard of any of these bands. they're all pretty good especially the dark horses, The Raveonettes, and Wooden Shjips clips.

A lot of them tour or collab with each other (i.e. BRMC's drummer used to drum for Raveonettes and The Black Ryder.)
