Somehow, I think this is the best one yet. Does anyone know who the roadie/stage guy in the adidas shirt is? Looks like Judah Friedlander.

That is Jazz. He was part of the road crew back then.

Is this at the 9:30 club? How on earth did you get tickets to this? It was super freaking hard to get tickets even at the large venues back then.

I remember when they came to the Patriot Center in 95. We stood in a super long ass line outside of the venue and didn't make the cut. The way we ended up with tickets is that my friend managed a telemarketing company. He had all the telemarketers call in to ticketmaster and whoever got us the tickets got a bonus.

It's cool to see Sabotage not at the end of a show and to not everyone freaking out about. So brand new to everyone.

I was there. Good times. I kind of like the Patriot Center show better when all three of them were on drum sets. Plus it introduced me to the Roots.

Ben, do you have the Patriot Center show? (I don't know which one that is.)

Is there any footage of all 3 of them on drum kits at the same time? I remember this but do t remember seeing any footage out there. Was this the quadrophonic tour?

My memory is horrible these days.

I dunno. And I dunno. It was the tour with Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and The Roots opening up for them. Summer of 95 I think...I'm pretty sure.

I've got the Patriot Center show on bootleg VHS but no way to convert it. It was a pretty subpar recording as I remember it. Also, I think there were 2 drum kits (one for Awol and one for Mike) not 3.

I'm pretty sure it was 3...and they brought them up front. I was front and center for a good amount of the show so I'm almost positive. ALMOST. This was almost 20 year ago.

I think you're thinking of Eric Bobo's bongo set-up. Mike D had a kit, AWOL had a kit, and Eric Bobo had his bongos. If I remember right Bobo was up front, Mike in the back center, and AWOL in the very back right.

I'll have to check my VHS.

Let me know what you find. Another person I was at the show with said he remembered 3 drum sets brought out front and all 3 of them getting on the sets. But then he started doubting himself after I kept asking if he was sure. So now we both want to know.

I saw them 3 times on the '95 quadrophonic tour and remember they did pull out 3 drum kits...but I'm not sure if it was at all three shows. I don't know if it is something they did every night or just when the spirit moved them.

I'd love to see a picture or footage of this. And it was the three beasties on the three kits. Not Bobo or Awol.

Okay, I'll have to pull out the VHS on this one. I don't remember that at all. That being said, I was on the floor up front at that show and it was insane down there.
