I wasn't expecting it but they paid memorial to Adam just now.

The video of him showed him smiling and laughing and I almost lost it.

Sigh.

He almost got the most reaction from crowd. Very cool in the context of the company kept at the Oscars. Really shows the influence and legacy left behind; his importance to so many. I was wondering if they would honor him and I guess I don't know why I was wondering after the fact...of course they would.

Yeah I was thinking about the fact that a lot of Yauch’s friends were film folks. He knew so many people who worked in that industry, directors, actors etc…He also attended the Oscars every year… so yeah their tribute also comes from a sincere place too. Not just another name to throw up to please folks. They truly respected him as person and artist.
