I'm going again. I doubt any of you are but here is the line up anyway. Looks ok, am still having issues with the rolling stones but i will probably end up there.

Anyway its all different this year because we are taking the kids.

C'mon the festival.

The line up is huge. Tried to get a ticket but missed out. Thinking about trying again at the resale but also have a possible job coming up on a cruise ship.. Cruise ship or Glastonbury.. any advice?

You have to go to Rolling Stones. Even if you don't really like them. Will be probably their best gig of the last decade +, seeing as it's in a big field with a hundred thousand odd people standing up, rather than the usual seated oldies stadium/arena gigs they've only really played recently.\

I'm also an Arctic Monkeys fan so am pleased to see them headlining, although I'm not sure what they'll do to improve on their '07 slot.

What bands you aiming to see?

yeah i think will end up seeing the stones, it'd be rude not to. I just wish they'd done it twenty years ago and it isnt a load of old men going thru the motions. hopefully it'll be good.

Never seen portishead before so that should be good.

quite fancy smashing pumpkins. and public enemy, i saw them at reading 20 years ago but would be nice to see them

I expecet everyone i want to see will be on at same time!!

I cant really make any plans as we are taking the kids for the first time so wont be able to slope off on me own to see anyone and will be spending time in kids field and some of the quieter bits i would have thought but it should be good

Stones, Portishead, Pumpkins, PE... I'd be excited to see all of the above if it was 15+ years ago.

I take that back about Portishead. I'd be excited to see them again. Amazing live!

The Stones are in their late 80's. Embarrassing.

Pumpkins nowadays is Billy Corgan and a bunch o' strangers.

PE is well PE. They have that energy but Chuck's voice just hasn't been what it used to be and Flavor Flav still is still mad annoying.

I looked at the flyer and the stand outs for me are Dizzee Rascal, Vampire Weekend, The xx, The Weeknd, Major Lazer, Fuck Buttons, Crystal Castles, Phoenix, Nas, Sub Focus...

I like the idea of seeing Tom Tom Club and Chic & Nile Rodgers.

But, I'll be sweltering in the my homeland of Philadelphia that weekend enjoying the heat, humidity, eating Italian Ice's and most likely wishing I was in Glastonbury watching the Stones, Portishead, Pumpkins, & PE.

theres a resale next week if you still interested. The money had to be in yesterday so there will be some who didnt pay so they have a resale on 21st April but they go quickly.

And if you decide to go, apparently firefox is the key to getting a ticket as chrome tended to kick people out when submitting details

The one I really want to go to is Austin Psych Fest but when you add together the distance required to get there, the costs of tickets (festival and plane) and the fact I don't drop acid, it all seems a bit of a pipe dream :(
