Keep the ones you love and sell the ones you don't? I keep buying them occasionally. Although most of them end up in boxes. Still don't want to sell em off yet though and fully give in to the digital convergence thing.

I have a big cupboard full and still not got round to doing a sort out properly, i know that i will end up keeping more than i should and end up listening to everything again.

But my eldest is now starting to take an interest in them so i dont really want to throw them out. I started listening to music cos all the records were put in my room as a toddler so i think i should let my kids discover music like a did and not necessarily on a computer.

I have had to re-organise my stuff so that all the sweary hip hop is unreachable but i still cant bring myself to actually chuck anything out

My whole collection is on discogs. Has been for a few years. The vinyl went first and the CDs are slowly going but a noticeable slow down last six months.

When someone dies or does something clever/stupid then they seem to sell - like a lot of my rarer BBoys stuff went May last year but other than waiting on events like that you are doomed to move them house to house* or get rid.

*I am moving house again next month and it's so much weight to always have with me and sometimes I feel like just giving it away. But easily £10k+ and hours of collecting/nostalgia stop me giving away most of it.
