i watched a good (well it was watchable) film the other day called "the greatest game ever played" about Ouimet who won US open as an amateur. film wasnt amazing but story was good. Shia Lebeouf is very frustrating to watch at times.
golf's not got a bad record in the movies. bagger vance and tin cup are pretty good and then there's Caddyshack

So one tuff thing abouf shooting in the 70s is just having time to play 18 holss and get a score. But im teeing off tommrow. And i signex up for the 40 day challange and i committed to practicing my short puts once a day for 40 days. I belive this will take me into the 70 s

The movie Tin Cup might or might not have been loosely based on the exploits of a certain board member that may or may not have gone to the University of Houston during the late 80's early 90's. particular person may have taken golf after being cut from the basketball team, and approached the game with less than perfect golf etiquette. Making him much beloved by the average students and regular fans.

Nicely done. I picked up golf this summer and have played my ass off. Literally sitting at the local clubhouse as I type this.

Just had my second straight round sub 100 and I'm thrilled! 97 & 98 last two times out. I shot a 123 earlier this summer.

Great game and the challenges are relative to this undertaking them.
