i guess the big question on everyone's mind is whether "another album" was referring to mixing HSC pt1 or really "another album'...

I've never really doubted the existence of 'another album' - or at least tracks which were recorded for the next 'part' in line. Mike D spoke about the second part (during the promotion for 2009's would-be part 1 - which was released as part 2!) and how they were looking into a novel way of releasing it. i imagine that's what Zdar was referring to - the next batch of songs - but even if not, I still think they exist.
