Only listened to few snippets. My wife hates it, so that might be a good sign ;)

Beats are top notch, the raps and features were lackluster.

I liked maybe 3 or 4 of the 16 songs.

Beats are A1 for sure. Rhymes aren't mind blowing but would much rather listen to this than Yeezus. Retired that shit after two listens.

Yeezus and Run The Jewels still in steady rotation with me. Saaab Stories is right up there.

After several listens this has really grown on me. A few tracks are skip worthy but on the whole, it's a 8/10 for me. It doesn't hold any instant classic tracks per se but I'd rather listen to average Hov over most other shit.

still listening to kanye, daft punk, mac miller, and tony touches new album to give this more than one spin.

i never was, and still am not, the biggest jay z fan. even in his prime he was never anything special to me. respect him but i feel hes very overrated.

I was wrong. Picasso Baby is right up there with the rest of the classics. Shit goes hard.

I'll eat my words with this one. cant stop listening to it now, much better than yeezus. Really grown on me

I have watched a few interviews with the man recently and as well as urging me to listen to this album , he just comes across as a really top bloke.

Wow! Never thought I would see Jigga get props here. I love Jay. Cool as fuck and brilliant as well.

I only fuck with Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, Black Album, American Gangster Soundtrack and half of The Throne.

The rest gets no play.

I ain't mad at that. But this new shit and BP3 make my list as well. That's a lot of joints from one dude though. Can't front.

Absolutely. There are a few joints from BP3 and even Kingdom Come that I really dig, but a lot less on MCHG. It seems more and more difficult for him to make a solid album nowadays.

Yes, he has hits. I just didn't hear any on his new shit.

I still prefer Yeezuzs tho.

i have only really delved sort of half way before (black album, blueprint 1 and thats about it) but since Magna Carta, I have got hold of more and have a playlist of about 100 tunes and have been battering it in my car.

Never realised how funny the guy was in rhymes. really dry, and a great range of voices. and he can rhyme over any style. not afraid to take the piss out of himself.

At moment My 1st Song is my favourite.

but the new album is really good and different in that is a similar feel and vibe.
Heaven is my fave track on that
