Some of you said you have heard it and have it...
Wondering why it hasn't leaked yet.
Who's heard it?
Who has a copy??
Who wants to share???

Why hasn't it leaked, it's been long enough that there is no reason to sit on it...

Yeah I'd be keen to hear it, for sure.

didnt realize that this version had circulated beyond test-listening (for initial release date publication reviews).

if you got it, cough it up people! :o

I don't recall anyone claiming to have this.

It was sent out to DJ/remixers. It's out there. The fact that no one has leaked it yet is quite remarkable.

Ya, I can't remember who, but some OG who doesn't post all that offend, but is around, claimed to have a copy back when HSCp1 had just had a few listen sessions followed by a track by track on-line review.

I'd be interested to hear if they did strip Nonstop disco powerpack back a little.

I want to hear it before Zdar overcooked it.

Lee Major's lo-fi version I had, sounded differently better....or was
it the lo-fi?

How would you define 'overcooked'?

I'd be very much interested in a pre-mastering HSCP2 BTW.

Me too! I remember reading reviews from the listening party they had.

I mean mixed by ZDAR, just not mastered / squashed after that.

Further to my post in another thread looking for the OG version of "Here's A Little Something For Ya", could anyone please direct me to download links for the 5 songs that were released in the fall 2009 or so?

Pop Your Balloon
B-Boys In The Cut
Too Many Rappers
Lee Majors Come Again
Here's A Little Something For Ya

I have TMR but I'd like to make a little HSC Pt. 1 EP with the Billy Ocean Cover for myself on iTunes.

Thanks y'all, love and respect!

Well, to me the sound comes off as very very clean and then it's passed throught a distortion effect, that same sound on every song that makes that album production over crunched boosted sound.

I play vinyls and tapes so to me it's not warm enough. Nothing sounds better than analogic distortion.
I really dig the sound of Hello Nasty and all that came before.

So to speak, The Mix Up is raw and HCSP2 is overcooked.

ok, now I am hungry! :p

I hear you.
Nowadays you just don't know if it is a mixing or mastering decision, that's why I would like to hear HSCP2 mixed by ZDAR but before it got mastered by Vlado Meller, who seems to have no problem contributing to the 'loudness war'.

I remember reason that a few years ago. So I guess the only thing off there we haven't really heard (in at least some form) is Bundt Cake?

...or the bass war for that matter. don't get me wrong, i love me some heavy bass, but the low-end of the record as a whole isn't too pleasing to me. the bass has a lack of definition, not to mention way too much sub. this makes me wonder if it was a mastering decision or if it was the bboys pushing for too much sub.

i can live with it though :o

I think they mentioned sub bass in the initial leadup.

I heard it was recorded on a sub!
