I really like the Too Many Rappers (New Reactionaries Version) beat.
What's your favorite Beastie Boys beat?

Great choice, I feel like that track gets a lot of unwarranted crap. But I think that beat is amazing. My favorite would probably be the beat in the last verse of Body Movin'.

Today I'd say 'Posse in effect'.

This one's real easy for me :

The New Style (beat on the final verse)

And Hello Brooklyn would be 2nd

Probably, Pass the Mic.

Yup. Gun to my head I'd take that over Posse in Effect. I stand corrected.

Hey Fuck You and So Whatcha Want popped into my head immediately when I saw the thread title. So many great beats though.

to say its an impossible question is an understatement...

but jams that immediately come to mind are "alright hear this", "negotiation limerick file", and "lay it on me"

Too hard. They have some seriously dope beats, especially spanning from Paul's Boutique to Ill Communication. These are not necessarily my "favorites" but a couple of beats from Hello Nasty that I think get slept on are "Shame in Your Game" and "Electrify".

I don't know if I would call Stand Together a beat, it's more like a groove... but that screw gun shit is ill!

I love Shame in Your Game, never understood why it didn't get more shine. That was my favorite track off HN when it first dropped!

"Yeah all those snares and kicks really get in the way of making it a proper beat." - said nobody else, ever.

I love Flute Loop/Do It, Finger Lickin' Good, Shame in Your Game, Say It & Long Burn The Fire off the top of my head.

haha, a bit snarky, but have to say i am a fan of sarcasm. :D

that said, i can see where Scoob is coming from though. stand together is kinda a line-blurrer so-to-say when it comes to it's "hip-hop beat" identity.

As soon as that started I was thinking "sounds like an Adrock beat."

Dope and funny.

Speaking of Adrock beats, he really needs to keep producing for other people. All those joints he did for Teriyaki Boyz were dope, that NPR joint was dope, the Bashton stuff too, on and on...

That beat is amazing. Weirdly enough it was my least favorite track on the album when I first started listening to it. Now I put it waaaay up near the top.
