Can we really call some reverby, low mixed backvocals a featuring? I feel betrayed to have been forced to listen to a Yoko One song in whole

how do you know it's just the background vox? guitar maybe? some of the synth shit sounds reminiscent of their remixes...
in fact, i didn't even notice the bg vocals.
i've heard faaaaaarrrrr worse yoko than this. not horrible, i guess, but definitely not buying the album

Not even this would make me buy a Yoko record.

background vocals wtf?
only heard yoko.
but sadly my mind took me to Here's A Little Something For Ya every time she said "place your bets" in the chorus.

There is a dude's voice doing back ups in the hook echoing Yoko after she says the phrase "no regrets". That's the only vox I can hear with out headphones.

Part of me wants to say that most wouldnt even give this a chance because its Yoko, but would think its great if it was a Cibo Matto track.
But yeah, its wack.

It reminds me of those trippy songs they use to play on the radio in the 90’s. I like it. I don’t love it…but I like it! Always good to hear Mike and Adam doing their thing. And Yoko being such good friends with Yauch and Sean….Feels like a family project.
And it was nice reading that article where Mike stated he didn’t think he would get back into music and enjoy it again. I got too emotional when I read that…just happy for him. Mike D got his groove back.

You mean the Kenzo article?

I remember when Yauch was on one of her tracks in the '90s and I got stoked to hear him doing some side shit, but after one listen I couldn't listen anymore. It was so bad. I do not like Yoko Ono at all.

It was a tiny article on Mike D in Rollingstone. A fan tweeted it to me. You know I should try and see if I can get the issue and scan it! :)

I like the music in this a lot. The vox just destroy it in the worst way.
