what does everyone think about the manning verdict? it seems that most think he leaked secrets to our 'enemies'. what really happened is that he witnessed many illegal murders and actions and reported them to someone who he thought would listen apparently after his chain of command was deep in political bs too. again, it's sad that the media is reporting a negative side and half truth so no one seems to know what's up.. then after much torture and ish he found himself wanting to be a female. i don't know whats up with that. though i do find myself wanting to know what it feels like to be a female sometimes. anyway, what's up with that? our military and government are way out of order. and now with syria it looks like ww3. whyyyyyyyyyyyy. how greedy can people be? anyway...

my bad... i guess chelsea always felt that way, not just after torture. given the situation she shouldn't have recieved any punishment as far as i can figure. what are we doing people?

She obviously wanted to be known as Chelsea even before the secrets came out. She wasn't allowed to be herself in the army and that left to her in an awkward situation.

She will hopefully get out in less than 10 years and is allowed to live the transgender lifestyle freely as she feels fit. Manning showed the world a video of a massacre done in the name of western values and got 35 years, those responsible for the massacre aren't even bought in front of a judge. The dude in the 70s that gave US secrets to the KGB got less of a hard time than Manning.

Chelsea Manning = real American hero.

this is like a bad movie where nothing goes the way it should.. you';re right, she should've been given a medal and celebrated and all'at good ish and the guilty parties punished..!!! instead it's like this??? i'm sure her day will come though still where she'll be rewarded and live a very happy life..!!! i hope you're right and it's less than ten then..

i hope a lot more people will grow a conscience and some balls, or tubes as it were! htat's just part of the job when you sign up and take the oath!

when i was in we weren't at war so my time was a fairly easy.. and when they asked me if i was a conscientious objector i sed no cuz i figured yeah if they're bad and trying to kill me and mine then i can't object to killing them at last resort.. plus witht he tech we've had why would we ever have another ground war... but now i know better... and would rather not be a pawn for the richest 1 percent in corrupt wars that started with lies that continues to continue hwere thousands of civilians and troops have died and are still dying ...

back in the first gulf war all saddams generals wanted was political reconcilliation where all we had to do was meander over and pick saddam up and we wouldv'e had the run of the country... but now it's been some 20 + year boondoggle manipulated by our gov ernment... people never had to die... things never had to happen this way. 'i know ya planned it...'
