had a beastie dream last night......so.......what if it was one of the other guys that unfortunately passed and not yauch.....do you think the state of the band's future would be different?

I think your gonna get some nasty replies to this thread.
From the information I have read there were recording sessions with vocals in autumn/fall
2011 and a part1/part2 of "weird shit" that was originally going to be released when HSCPT2 came out, if HSCPT1 had of come in Sept 2009.
So there are two albums in the Beastie vault,they maybe released with the multi-media book they are writing that comes out in 2015.
I think after that is released ,adam and mike will retire from the Beastie Boys and produce/remix music.
Whoever passed away the band mates left, would end the band after a period of time with a with a look back on the bands career in a video/book way.

I think their future would be different as the loss would be unique.
The emotions, challenges and remaining creative powers would be different.
As for their future it is clear that they would continue making music under various names and with various collaborators. You can't just stop creativity, especially from these artists. There were 3, now 2 then just 1 -- they will always be Beastie Boys to me.
