Been about six months since I last chimed in here. Thought I would check in....

Moved out of Chicago in Feb after 32 years. Got tired of the crap ass weather and the violence. There were 80 shootings and 15 people killed over the 4th of July weekend....48 hours!!! I have a 3.5 year old son now and I'm not risking him on those streets. In addition, I just want him growing up in a different place than I did for a number of reasons.

So we headed to Destin, Florida for a few months and quickly got tired of it. Vacation town for a week is cool. Vacation town permanently? Not so much. So we headed out to Scottsdale AZ to see how we like it. So far, it's hot as hell...every single day. Lol. Now we're thinking about maybe hitting the California coast sometime before Fall and poking around out there for a little bit.

In other news, my daughter graduated Salutatorian last month from her grade school in Staten Island. I am beyond proud of her.

So that brings me up to date. Who's next?
