does anyone know what that tune was towards the start of the trailer? about 20 seconds in. It sounded like a cover of Radioheads "The national anthem" with some serious brass.

This is incredible. I need to pick up the album. A 35 person hip hop ensemble? Bonkers.

some reason I thought there would be more Portishead fans on here...

There's 35 artists on the album, but the instrumentals are the slightly superior way to listen to it. I had to kick Portishead's sound guy out of a pub in Brixton once. Just got 'Third' on vinyl. It rules.

You might recognize a bunch of the songs/instrumentals if you seen Banksy's "Exit Through The Gift Shop". Oscilloscope Laboratories!!!
That's how I got into Quakers. And after their Stones Throw release they've been in steady rotation. I prefer the instrumentals myself as well.
Machine Gun on Third is the tits.

i love portishead but until recently it was only the first album i knew but went to see them at glastonbury last year, thinking it my be a slightly downbeat affair but they were excellent live, really intense, very strange hearing a whole field singing "Nobody loves me"...
anyway i listened to more quakers, really good stuff

We've (http://bbs.beastieboys.com/showthread.php?t=98475&highlight=quakers) been trying to get you fools on to them since June '12. :)

I can see that.
The whole record seems very Dilla influenced (which is not a bad thing). Speaking of, today is Dilla Day.
RIP J Dilla
