Anyone out there record this DJ set that Michael did -- or for that matter -- any of the DJ sets that Adam Horovitz has done since Adam Yauch's death?

He should have been wherever he wanted to be. MCA day is for the fans.

I was just going to say that. Mike looking great. But in fairness, Mike has looked like he's 45 since Hello Nasty came out.

Would be nice to hear. If I find anything I will certainly post!

LOL bless him. I think he looks great though. I guess 45 is a good age to look like forever.
I know some fans have mixed feelings about Mike and his non-involvement with MCA DAY. Is Mike quiet around fans? Maybe he's not comfortable. I dunno. I am happy to see him though.

MCA Day isn't official, and nothing should be used as a ruse to force Mike's hand.

I was happy to see these
I also wondered why Mike D. may not be somewhere else.
I can think of plenty of good logic/reasons
One thing is... when Mike D. shows up it is all about Mike D. (not by Mike's choice.) and to many people (like me) will bum rush, disrespect just to get a shot to see the Man.

obvious you got your dates mixed up.
"somewhere else" indicates a comparison to where he actually was.
Mike D at a fan event would not be a chill atmosphere. it would be a bum rush like the other guy noted.

That dye job is lookin sweet.
I look at him now and it's almost like he's another dude. It kind of reminds me of when rock stars like the Stones or whatever get into going to the gym every day and all healthy. Don't get me wrong I think it's great he takes care of himself but it just seems so different from back in the day. I guess everybody evolves though.
I'm sure Mike remembers and honors MCA in his own way. These guys are like brothers. And when they decide to do a tribute I'm sure he'll be all about it.

Wish I was there
I hope I can bring the family soon.
I hope nobody wants to fight me for my past being drunk and stupid.

I must confess that it is a lot of fun to get drunk and mess about offending others on this BBMB. If someone has not tried it I recommend it highly. For a fan-base that love these three practical jokers (who were rarely serious in interviews) some people here are crazily serious, no?
Surely no one here is so afflicted with political correctness (or should that be incorrectness) to physically fight a person with their family. Especially on a day of remembrance or due to some perceived 'rubbish' they wrote on a message board that is as much fantasy (for some of us) as a place to get away from it all with others who may (or may not) be like-minded because they like Ad-Rock, MCA and Mike D.

Yea it was one of many stupid paranoid thoughts I have. I mean No disrespect toward the event, As I am sure no one there would be disrespectful to the day.
Again, wish I was there, but happy to see all the photos. I checked into flying out and I guess it is not my personal/families biggest priority right now. It would great if it was though.
