recently watched the Kathleen Hannah doc and am embarassed to say that i have slept heavy on the original Julie Ruin album. that shit's really somethin'. can't help but feel like BS2000 was inspired in part by that, as they both share that lo-fi 'bedroom'-album quality. well, the first BS record at least.
