watched the punk singer last night, lots on adrock after the first 40 minutes.
Sounds like from 2009 he's had a real shit time, two close people in his life suffering bad from health reasons.
Actually im suprised we received HSCPT2 in 2011 seeing as he doesnt need the money,I know he's an artist and does it for the love of music.
But promotion and interviews must of been a drag:(

One of my fave documentaries. I feel so terrible for Kathleen and Adam on a multiple levels. I have no idea how they has been able to cope with the stress the past few years giving Adam Yauch and Kathleen's dreadful illness. Having good friends must help :)

Was thinking the same thing when I first watched it. Kathleen has been suffering for awhile and it's ongoing...then Yauch. Man I just want to give him a great big hug!

I hope Ms. Kathleen is able to perform again. Fucking Lyme disease.

Saw this on netflix, I liked it.
She is definitely more influential than she gets credit for.
At the same time I also thought the doc nearly completely ignored her brief stint as a stripper. Not to perv about it, it just seems that its an interesting transformation to go from that to feminist rocker.
Not saying they needed to make that the focus of it, but they could have maybe explored it a tiny bit.

Shoulda been the other way round. I mean: naive support for "Pussy Riot"? Please...

Saw this at the film fest a couple of days ago. I pretty much didn't know anything about Hannah. And the doco opened up sides of Adam I'd never really seen before.

They had a long distance relationship going for a good few years, with seperate projects going, both touring and in different scenes, with different levels of success. Must have been tough to keep a relationship like that stable. Lives of the famous eh.
