Been reading this intensive Lee 'Scratch' Perry biography as of late titled 'People Funny Boy'. There's only a coupla pages dealing with the bboys, but there was one notable nugget of info worth reporting.

Apparently back during the CYH sessions, dub legend Mad Professor flew out to G-Son and worked on some remixes (assumingly dubs[?]), but according to the text the mixes weren't 'edited properly' and remain unissued. The thought of those reels gathering dust in a storage space somewhere breaks my heart.

My memory might be off here - but I seem to remember being part of some beastie folks that we're going to kick in a few bucks to get the recording of this. I think this was around 2001/2002.

I believe a board member had contact info for Mad Profesor (or someone in his camp) and an offer was made. Obviously it never came together. Anyone remember being a part of this? Or did I dream this.
