I can completely respect that the Beastie Boys are no more. It wouldn't be the same without MCA.

My question though is, does that mean the whole Quasar thing is completely done? It most likely is and this might be a stupid question..

I highly enjoy listening to "Aglio e Olio" and the other hardcore songs on the other releases and on YouTube, etc.. If Michael Diamond and Adam Horovitz decided to screw around with the hardcore thing, who would you want to play bass? My ONLY pick would be Darryl Jenifer of Bad Brains... what do you think?

It would be great if they tried a one-off side-project. I can see Darryl Jenifer of Bad Brains contributing. I bet there would be lots of artists interested in helping out in different ways. Hopefully some day the two of them will have the itch to do a full-length album of some kind. Difficult to say though, they appear to be mostly dabbling and/or trying different low key things at the moment musically-speaking. It must be tough for them to get motivated to develop a full-length contribution without Yauch (although they both have done it previously as side-projects). It could be different now due to their age and interests. Hard to say what motivates them both to make music.
