It's been over a month already? Christ. I've had fuck all time to do these.

Sorry for the delay, Alex. To compensate for keeping you waiting for so long, I put a little extra 'oomph' into yours.

Cheers! I got into eBoy at uni through a guy who was really into pixel art, started drawing a few pixel people about 2 years ago and I've gone from there really.

My technique still needs improvement though. Sometimes I'll make a person a pixel or two too tall without realising or I'll not be able to get a foot or an arm quite right and have to spend an hour trying to acheive the correct pose.

I've also just realised that the droppinscience one isn't anywhere near at the right angle and you won't begin to understand how much that pisses me off :/

I use photoshop and zoom in as closely as possible. I select 'view grid' and then I painstakingly produce each character pixel by pixel using the pencil tool and following a rough template that I have alongside (so that I know how many pixels high the face/body of each individual is).

Each character probably takes about 2-2.5 hours to produce, and that band and stage that I produced for GEA just now took me 3 or 4 evenings spread out over the last 2 weeks.
