This is why it's interesting. Facebook is blocked in China but they have a clone I believe, unsure of the name tho.

But Russia is well connected and they don't really show either.

Big gaps in the places where this is a low population obviously - Amazon, Sahara etc

The lines are supposed to show how traffic between those people is going. It must require some real data work.

Linkage to more info

edit: What would be interesting is how it connected to relative world wealth. Obviously people have to travel or have made web connections to know someone overseas. Is facebook a mainly white rich tool?

Russia doesn't really use Facebook, they have their own version also. I think most of the non-latin character languages (Japanese, Chinese, Russia etc) use their own variants.

This is the £5 coin to celebrate beavis and butthead engagement by the Royal Mint.

Sorry, I mean Prince William and Kate Middleton. It's not very flattering to either of them. I mean generations of inbreeding makes William pretty ugly but Kate is a lot prettier than that.

Amazing!... Except that isn't a real picture of Richard Dawkins - it's been photoshopped to resemble Emma Watson for the purposes of an internet 'joke'.

Here's the original picture:
