Beastie Boys are my favorite band of all time. I have a Beastie Boys tattoo on my arm. I still check this board occasionally for hints of any new releases, stuff from the vault, etc. So thanks for the hints CJ Hood, I hope something comes of it someday. It's a bummer if they planned on doing stuff and then just scrapped it, but seems par for the course since MCA's passing unfortunately.

Since the #2019 was a clue, and they did the "Beastie Boys Story" live shows in 2019... I'm guessing it has something to do with live shows.

I'm hoping they announce a return to doing live concerts, but I expect it to be an official release on a live album.

It's gonna be a remastered release of Country Christmas as a 180 gram vinyl single with an accompanying book of commentary and an iron-on sheriff's badge that says "Readin' You the News." Trust me.

Why not just put that out on RSD Black Friday?!

Also, it was never officially released to the public so “remastered and officially released” 12” single - only plays on Side A. Side B features etched artwork of Country Mike himself.
