it's pretty old. It is real, there's a wikipedia page on the guy. Can't remember his name offhand, I'll have to search through jjam to find it and I don't feel like doing so right now.

The driver is Tom Pryce. He was very fast in his day. Just starting to show real potential. The race is the 77 African GP. He hit the guy at over 150 mph. He did basically explode. Tom was killed as well when the extinguisher the corner worker was carrying flew into his helmet.

Very sad day in F1.

RIP Tom Pryce and the young corner worker at the 77 African GP.
