That was a great interview and seriously hope he continues to write. Love the story about getting caught smoking his mom's pot.

I must admit though, Ad has seemed quite different in recent interviews (and particularly in video interviews) over the past few years. He's definitely had a difficult few years. That comment about always staying high in order to cope was a quite sad. Hope he's looking after his mental health.

that's the same thing I thought when I read that answer that it was really sad. BUT we really can't determine how serious he's being since they have no consistency to which questions they decide to take seriously. it may read as an honest answer but he could also just be annoyed at the question.
