Just had a beautiful dinner with my wife, my mum and my step-dad, for my step-dad's birthday. We dropped them home and got a phone-call a minute later from my step-dad, saying the house had been ransacked.

Fucking kick in the guts; I'm just glad they weren't home when the little shits broke in. The missing shit is highly sentimental jewellery, but at least nobody is hurt. Cops might send forensics out in the next day or two.

They're getting older, and it shits me to think that this has happened to them. I haven't spoiled for a fight in quite a while, but my patience is feeling more than a bit tested.

Sorry, just came home and decided to start venting. I know this type of thing happens. Burglars are carnts.

First of all, don't apologize for venting to us....that's one of the reasons why we're here.

Secondly, if you're patience is feeling "more than a bit tested", you're a better man than me. Kudos.

And...I have no idea what a carnt is but I will venture to guess that is quite similar to what we call "fucking jagoff lowlife shit sucking nut licking pricks" here in the States.

I'm really sorry to hear about your dad's birthday and your parents house and belongings.

But...bottom line is...everybody is physically safe...and that is what matters most of all.

I believe he was being polite, not sure why...but i think he was meaning cunts. Correct me if i'm wrong and all.

My kids for some reason have a real fear of burglars, luckily we've never been broken into allthough the joke would be on them as most of my stuff is total shit. What a total fucker for the family, especially having to come home to that. In this country, prolly everywhere i guess,there's a debate about self defence or should you confront an intruder. Fuck yeah, i don't advocate violence at all but i'm not going to want some little fucker getting away with breaking into my house. Trouble is here, the system seems to side with whiney wankers who feel hard done by because they got kneecapped whilst trying to fuck over someone's home. Infectious venting. Sorry about all the swearing.:o

I got one for you....a long time ago I remember hearing about a guy who was breaking into someone's house through the skylight in the roof. Well, dumb fuck falls through the skylight and lands on the island in the middle of the kitchen, which happen to have some sharp cutlery laying about, and slices himself all up. Can you believe this fucker had the nerve to sue the homeowners?

Jesus,i sadly can believe it but it's no less shocking. It seems some of us have evolved the idea that we have the right to everything, and no shame in how they get it. I think the anger at that person might have just killed me had it been my home. An oldish farmer here was locked up for shooting and injuring a young man that was trying to break into his property. Again, i wouldn't endorse violence, or gun ownership but if you feel threatened and have a weapon to hand, it's going to be used isn't it. It's the risk they take

When anyone hears an alarm, do you actually do anything?

Must admit I don't generally unless I recognise it as mine. But half the time an alarm is going off because it's started raining or a gust of wind or some walked past.

Too many alarms are far too over sensitive and thus people just ignore them.
