Indeed, the Nexus-6 had a short lifespan, but they were a definitely fighters until the end.

Good point. According to Wikipedia the song was recorded in 2008 and Yauch was diagnosed in 2009. Although Yauch was sick a few months before being diagnosed so perhaps that fact triggered those lines somehow. I recall purchasing the Record Store Day 12 inch of Too Many Rappers in 2009.

That Nexus 6 line isn't on the 2009 version that came out before he was sick. It's only on the 2011 album version where he altered his verse (presumably after he found out about being sick).
