you must be able to see his point though -- in a full 8 hour day, 10 people should have been able to do 80 hours of community service. if it took 7500 people to do 80 hours of work for a corporation in one day, 7500 people wouldn't have a job.

yeah, it's great that everyone got out and volunteered, but it seems like 7000 of those people were probably busy fucking off.

Maybe she meant actual Community Service. Like some of these people were paying off their debt to society.

Painted a few maps instead of cleaning up garbage on the highway.

ok well maybe I got the numbers wrong then, but it's really not about that.

Re: The Family Album

maybe it was just 70 hours for your particular group?

aint no thang. in a corporation employees would get fired because their time would come at the expense of that corporation. in volunteering, because people are working for free, it doesnt really matter how many people it takes to get something done, so long as it gets done.

its possible that many of the people there had never 'volunteered' before. if they had an easy time at this event where all or most of the goals were met, at the very least, those people might be more likely to volunteer again thanks to this pleasant experience.

i dunno. why dont' yall fight it out in a mudpit while wearing bikinis or something.

so i went to that bonnaroo music fest, and had a great time...most of my pictures came out kind of grainy since it was so dusty and i suck at photography

the one shot that i am in

tool had some seriously crazy lights and lasers

but they were out done by the flaming lips

widespread panic closed out the weekend with an excellent jamfest

and i spent about 4-5 hours each night sleeping in this lovely thing, only to wake up in a pool of my own sweat

You may have seen my ex coworker there. I took over his position cause he left like 2 hours early one night to go and have a few drinks and got busted, haha.

Man, I dig that tool setup. They still sound good live?
