I personally don't mind a little peins and vagina, but Damaja has a point.

Porn is all over the internet, tv, hell, right around the corner in a nice little shop for some, and it's hard to keep little eyes from viewing such things.

Speaking as a mother and not a poster, I would be bothered by my son finding porn on a message board that's devoted to one of his favorite bands.

People bitch about America and our eating habits and our President, but what about sex? It's taking over everything and is taken so lightly. Kids are having kids because like most adults, sex isn't something special anymore. It's everywhere.

I believe in sexual expression, everyone here knows that...but I have a responsability and in a world like this I think the kids come first. If parents can't keep an eye on their kids and their kids stumble upon porn, I can't help that. BUT..I can help by keeping pornographic images I want to share in PM's.

FYI..I am typing about distasteful porn....a tasteful boob here and there is nothing, but penis and vaginas and penis and vaginas connected...urm.

i dunno, whatever...there are way worse things than a penis, vagina, or both together.

and its a parents responsibility to monitor child use of the internet.

Oh, and Steph, speaking as a parent, I disagree with you. The idea is to demystify sex, taking away the taboo focus, and then have an open dialogue with your kids about what sex is. I'm not sure I'll be able to do it, when the time comes -- especially with a daughter? -- but I'm gonna try.
