been doing some digital "tapestries" - photgraphing tissue paper flowers and tweaking in photoshop. A little bit trippy, but I liken them to print making/mandala artwork - very relaxing to make

the last one was from a macro photo of a wreath made of tissue paper flowers which is originally just a quadrant of the image. It created a "foreshortening" effect thus the larger paper petals and the exponentially shrinking petals.

totally mandala-esque - I find them pleasant to make and look at, like stain glass.

each of the images consist of approx 5 layers of varying in shade/contrast/saturation/blending/dodging or burning...
