Believe it or not man I'm pretty straight edge. I'm not one to judge.

I just really dig trippy art.

thanks, tis the point. Like I said, preliminary sketch. Great drawings yet again, what text did you have around all those? Was it just a notepad for classes or what?

Driz: I was actually thinking this morning I might do color instead.

Those drawings were occasionally in the midst of journal entries, or had poetry (I don't really fancy myself a poet - but I dabble) around them, or sometimes were accompanied with what SobaV called "post-modern philosophical mumblings." I didn't think people here would be interested, and lots of that stuff was personal and wouldn't probably make sense to someone here.

Your drawing are pretty nice! I really like the android one, the detail in it are sweet!

I've done loads of glassthingies, but never three dimensional. I've meant to do some earrings sometime, but they're still just ideas in my head (like about 90% of my projects... )

i look forward to seeing it....i think it would be beautiful if you treated it as something more than just a portrait....like if you incorporated the original sketch...dont get rid of it! its cool. also, if you took it one direction, then ran in another...take it as it goes, as it comes, freestyle. start with the sketch and then build it, layers, collages...craziness. have fun!:) just some ideas...

drizl 07-28-2006 04:10 PM

Re: ARTS THREAD

thanks b:) try it its a lot more fun than 2-d! now we have to find a way to incorporate 4, and 5!;)

patricia piccinini

I can never remember her name, but all of her work is brilliant and disturbing. She's my new favorite artist.
