I loved that cover. I was SO disappointed with the new cover when Part 2 was released.
Correct, although this was more of a preview and (as far as I can remember) the only article of its kind. I don’t think many people have heard the original, within the press or otherwise.

Completely agree re: the cover.

I want to hear a compilation of songs from all of the fake artists / songs they imagined when creating the fake samples. I obviously have no idea if they ever intended to carry it that far, but to me that seems like one of the most original and compelling ideas I've ever heard of for an album Part 2.

I don't see a scenario arising where Adrock and Mike D decide to release a version of an album that's been released already that they thought wasn't good enough to release in the first place.

I agree. That's why I'm hoping for a leak, or maybe a cheap digital only release.

Same here. Just craving anything musically creative from them. I really liked the mix up era, the bossa nova stuff too, so getting a chance to hear them create some fake style funk, soul or crazy samples would be really interesting.
