i'm sure there are a ton of them. the beastie boys (adrock at least) have made their opinion clear...

this is one of the reasons i respect them. most hip hop artist aren't as open minded.

what do you people think of "fags" or bisexual males like me? do you think the beastie boys feel embarrassed or ashamed of some of their fans? i'm curious if the beastie boys have made any other comments of gay people or lifestyle in interviews (post licensed to ill)?

I definately think that it's now acceptable to make comments about homosexuality under the guise of "being ironic", etc. I don't think it's acceptable to call crap things "gay", for obvious reasons, but you will hear sensible people defend that sort of thing. It makes me depressed when a read coments like that last quote, partly because the thinking behind it, that suggests that being "gay" is a terrible thing to be, but manly it's just very lazy, and unfunny mostly, and makes you look a bit of a hateful fucker.

I know for a fact that Planetary doesn't hate gay people, quite the opposite actually lol...

homophobia turns me off. I had two friends in college who were best friends with each other, in fact we all took a trip together after graduation...and about 6 months after our vacation one of the women came out as a lesbian. her"best" friend flipped out and wouldn't talk to her anymore. So fucking stupid. Her friend didn't change, she's still same person, except now she's open about being attracted to women. big whoop. So many other problems in the world to solve...and people being gay isn't one that needs a solution. accept it.

gays and lesbians are just like any other people. sure, I used to joke about them but they are just like you and me. heck, I even went out with a puerto rican lesbian midget in high school!

I have a good friend from Jersey who's gay that I stay very close with. Reason being it that his cousin is VIDA GUERARRA!:D

Many of the people I know think that being approached by, or associated with, a gay person says something about their own sexuality. I get jokes all of the times because I don't get offended when a gay man hits on me. I guess that sometimes people are insecure about themselves (or so opposed to the idea of homosexuality) that they feel like they are challenged by homosexuals. I am pretty much flattered any time someone hits on me, and in my experience gay men open the door to a virtual treasure trove of women seeking men who are not threatened by homosexual men.
